Piper Companies is looking for a Network Technician for a Contract-to-hire opportunity with a large healthcare organization in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities for the Network Technician:

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.Monitor network performance, and reliability making sure to implement updates and improvements as needed.Work with EUS Technician to provide End-User support connectivity and wireless related concerns

Requirements for the Network Technician:

Proven experience as a Network Technician.Clear knowledge of network protocols especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANSFamiliarity with Network Equipment that are common to today changingAbility to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficientlyEffective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Technicians and End-usersAbility to work between multiple local sites and take care of issues as neededRelevant certifications ( e.g, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) would be a real advantage.

Compensation for the Network Technician:

Targeting $20-$25/hr depending on experienceContract-to-hire opportunityComprehensive Benefits Package
