As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, tactical, and technical expertise to work on projects for Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) at the Department of Defense (DoD). You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and lead stakeholder interviews and trainings. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes.

You’ll guide the work we do for WPS in the DoD and the solutions we deliver for military and defense mission planning and strategy.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with or for the U.S. Army

  • 2+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and training for DoD personnel on non-technical topics

  • 2+ years of experience working with WPS, including conducting training on WPS at tactical and operational levels

  • 1+ years of experience with public speaking and communicating complex security topics to large and diverse stakeholder groups as an instructor or facilitator in both in-person and virtual environments

  • 1+ years of experience with operations and planning, including training event planning

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to conduct interviews with DoD stakeholders and synthesize findings

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to primarily domestic locations

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in an Education or Security field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience implementing WPS with DoD or international partners

  • Knowledge of Knowledge Management best practices

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize key findings from quantitative and qualitative data

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
