What you’ll be doing:

  • Cold calling and cold emailing prospects as necessary
  • Process lead lists down the Staples lead funnel ensuring the most qualified leads hit sales
  • Responsible for setting meetings as necessary for the outside sales team
  • Own our inbound channels, such as live web chat and incoming calls      
  • Research prospects on LinkedIn and other relevant internal databases
  • Add prospects to marketing campaigns and contribute to our overall lead creation goals    
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) Conversions and Wins
  • Manage inbound customer leads for a set territory. You will be responsible to qualify them and feed them into the sales pipeline.        
  • Work closely with your peers from the Inside Business Development team to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.           

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Qualifying, converting, or closing Large Quantity Orders (LQO) prospect  
  • Ability to have conversations via phone, email or chat
  • Ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to overcome multiple objections in the course of a call
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade others and problem solve
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills   

 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ of blended customer service and sales experience in a call center environment

 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is an asset
  • Experience using a Computer, Excel and Outlook
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
