What you’ll be doing:
- Cold calling and cold emailing prospects as necessary
- Process lead lists down the Staples lead funnel ensuring the most qualified leads hit sales
- Responsible for setting meetings as necessary for the outside sales team
- Own our inbound channels, such as live web chat and incoming calls
- Research prospects on LinkedIn and other relevant internal databases
- Add prospects to marketing campaigns and contribute to our overall lead creation goals
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) Conversions and Wins
- Manage inbound customer leads for a set territory. You will be responsible to qualify them and feed them into the sales pipeline.
- Work closely with your peers from the Inside Business Development team to determine the accounts that require research and prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of additional qualified opportunities.
What you bring to the table:
- Qualifying, converting, or closing Large Quantity Orders (LQO) prospect
- Ability to have conversations via phone, email or chat
- Ability to achieve sales quotas
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to overcome multiple objections in the course of a call
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade others and problem solve
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years’ of blended customer service and sales experience in a call center environment
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is an asset
- Experience using a Computer, Excel and Outlook
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
