Position Summary:Payment Processing Representatives are responsible forspeaking with customers to process and accept inbound paymentinquiries while providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
- Dailyprocessing of inbound customer payments.
- Review information provided by customer toconfirm accuracy while keeping information confidential.
- Document and update customer interactionwithin customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- De-escalate calls professionally and providesolutions that leave the customer satisfied with the resolution.
- Exceed customer service expectations byproviding an outstanding experience to every potential customer.
- Adhere to schedules while maintaining a highlevel of service, customer satisfaction, and quality.
- Promote teamwork through consistency,reliability, and group cohesiveness.
- Performsother duties as assigned bysupervisor.
Experience andMinimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a payment processingrole.
- Ability to juggle various workactivities and shift their attention from one task to another tomeet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping theball.”
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced,high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up yoursleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
- Holdoneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven inaccomplishing goals.
- Detail-oriented and canfocus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effectivepathway to completion.
- Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills at all levels to communicate withinternal and external stakeholders articulately.
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinizeand evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work,solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
- Ability to provide timely and empatheticservice through all communication channels keeping peer andcustomer needs first.
- Proficiency usingMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project,and/or Access).
- Must be legally authorized towork in country of employment without sponsorship for employmentvisa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities orCertifications:
- Experiencein the home improvement, household durables, and/or constructionindustry.
TravelRequirements:
- No travelrequired.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
- May be requested to workovertime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.
PhysicalRequirements:
- Normal officeenvironment.
- Performs indoor work in aclimate-controlled environment.
- Sedentary work.Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligibleamount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pullor otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary workinvolves sitting most of the time.
