Key Role:
Tackle complex technical challenges to meet test and operations mission needs, including the application of hardware and software solution engineering, digital engineering, and technical management in support of the pursuit and delivery of complex, large-scale embedded, and system-level technology programs. Play a key role envisioning and executing a strategic roadmap that crosses multiple market verticals and business domains. Work closely with government clients, senior technical experts, and junior solution development teams to define solutions for key client mission needs. Maintain responsibility for shaping strategic initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, develop repeatable solutions that scale across multiple market verticals, and form and lead cross-disciplinary teams and strategic partnerships in alignment with broader business strategies and goals. Lead highly technical growth efforts, including digital design, solution architecture, client interaction, proposal development, and pricing. Play a pivotal role in the development of Booz Allen as an engineering solution firm. Build cross-functional teams of engineering professionals and mentor team members on how to enhance their technical skills and build a big picture perspective about different components of a technology solution and how they fit together. Promote Booz Allen's brand awareness and provide mission and technical thought leadership by participating in conferences.
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with leading large teams and programs, developing strategies, and growing business
Experience with working across technology and analytics capabilities
Experience with mentoring, developing, and managing highly productive leaders and a team that can win new business, developing engineering solutions, and leading large-scale, complex captures and proposals
Experience in a DoD environment
Ability to transform legacy to a digital engineering platform
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment and apply a track record as a business leader and innovator
Ability to align hardware and software solutions with business needs and create innovative approaches to address client requirements
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in a military aviation environment preferred.
Experience with guiding the translation of engineering solutions into digital engineering models
Experience with DoD weapons and/or delivery platforms
Experience with leading large-scale, transformation or modernization programs for the DoD
Knowledge of legacy Gen 4 aircraft technology systems
Ability to provide architect solutions for complex engineering solution proposals
Possession of excellent management and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Top Secret clearance preferred
Master's degree preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
