Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions tosupport the Accounts Receivable Department by calling customers tocollect on past due balances, providing them statements and copiesof invoices, researching and clearing short payments, andprocessing adjustments
  • Ability to work withA/R aging; identify and manage bad debt accounts
  • Process credit and debit memos for customerinvoices
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices andother accounting documents or records
  • LockboxCash Application, ACH cash application, and assist other A/R Clerkswhen needed
  • Assist and ensure accurate andtimely payment processing from customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma orequivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Aminimum of two years of Accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of A/R processes; experience with bill ofladings preferred
  • Must have an excellent eyefor detail; must have the ability to spot issues quickly and beable to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Analytical skills necessary to validate deductions and tosupport solving complex transaction processing issues
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to multi-taskprojects, establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and theability to interact professionally with a diverse group ofexecutives, managers, and customers
  • Able toproblem-solve and handle a variety of issues
  • Must be self-motivated and able to workindependently
  • Must also be able to followdirections and work as part of a team
  • Mustkeep management apprised of progress and/or deviations

Tillman California salaryrange:  $22.00 - $24.00 per hourbased on experience, education and geographiclocation.
