Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Onsite, 5 days a week, near Edison, NJ

Note: No C2C

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
    • Proficient in O365, Windows OS, iOS/Android, Cisco, and RDP.
    • Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, A+, Network+) and healthcare experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee onboarding/off-boarding, tech refresh, and deployment of new PCs/laptops.
  • Troubleshoot workstation issues and manage mobile devices.
  • Assist with minor tech issues for residents.
  • Support PC/laptop security and conduct staff training.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support for the help desk.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
