Our home at UBS Arena at Belmont Park, which was built for hockey and made for music, cements our brand into the very foundation of New York. We have always carved our own path, and to our fans the Islanders are a way for people to be a part of something greater than themselves. To be a part of living history, with the glory of the past fueling the drive for our fifth Stanley Cup.
How to Make the TeamOur Interns bring exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic. This role will focus on creative thinking, organization, attention to detail and requires that the person to be able to work both collaboratively and independently to assist the entire Partnership Management department. This position also requires a high degree of personal integrity, timeliness, workload prioritization and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Show Us You Can
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of partner relationships and deliverables
  • Liaising with vendors and internal partners, such as Building and Ticket Operations, in the execution of various partnership needs/activations
  • Creation and management of deliverable trackers to help ensure flawless execution
  • Proof of performance recaps and documents to share with partners and track department success
  • Think creatively and contribute to the overall department goals
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and collaborate

Your Equipment

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills
  • Prior internship experience preferred
  • Excellent writing and research skills

Where Youâll GoThe New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY, as well as Manhattan. You will be asked to be in office 2-3 days per week, in addition to working in a rotation for events at UBS Arena.

  • Attending home games and other team events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
