We are growing and looking for experienced Inside Sales Representatives to join our team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Are you someone who is competitive, capable of building strong relationships with those of all levels and thrives on success?
Experience in aluminum, stainless steel, related alloys, or mechanical grade plastic product lines are preferred.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Professionally answer inbound calls to create sales.
- Develop new prospects using information from inquiries, outbound calls, aged leads, internet sites, and other sources.
- Interact with existing customers to identify leads and increase the sales of products and services.
- Quote pricing and credit terms and prepare sales orders.
- Estimate dates of delivery to customer based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedules.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Work with outside sales representatives to build and maintain account activity.
- Maintain current knowledge of the metals industry, including potential customers and competitors, as well as business trends through trade association events and industry publications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous inside sales experience in the metal, aerospace, industrial supply, or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Possess creative and complex thinking skills to best resolve customer's wants and needs.
- Possess a high degree of business ethics.
- Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
- High level of self-motivation and awareness.
- Ability to handle objections and provide alternatives in the sales process.
