POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Clinical Development is a critical leader in advancing ABA service delivery, enhancing staff training and development, and coordinating clinical initiatives across Powerback Pediatrics. This role ensures that our clinical practices are cutting–edge and effective, supporting our mission to provide the highest quality of care. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Client Caseload Management: Maintains a small caseload of clients, including supervision, parent training, and assessment, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
Behavior Technician Mentorship: Develops, implements, and oversees a comprehensive mentorship program for Behavior Technicians to enhance retention and promote ongoing education.
Client Intake and Assessment: Performs assessments for new clients, facilitates intakes, and transition services to BCBAs for ongoing supervision.
Training Resource Development: Creates and provides training resources for various assessment tools, and educates the BCBA team on the latest methods and tools.
Collaborative Initiatives: Partners with Powerback Rehab's clinical and educational teams to support training and educational initiatives across the division.
Data Analysis and Outcomes: Collaborates with clinical and educational teams to analyze data and clinical outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
Program Effectiveness Evaluation: Assesses program effectiveness and efficiency, providing recommendations for enhancements.
Clinical Program Design: Leads the design and implementation of new clinical programs and strategies to improve service delivery.
Research and Best Practices: Stays updated with the latest research and best practices in autism and ABA therapy to inform clinical practices.
Travel Requirements: Travels up to 50% for training, education, conferences, and other business duties.
Special Projects: Undertakes projects assigned by the Regional Vice President to support clinical operation initiatives.
Performs other related duties as required.

Educational Background: Master's degree from an accredited university meeting BACB guidelines.
Certification: BCBA Certification or mid–level (market–specific) requirements.
Experience: At least five years of experience as a BCBA, with a proven track record in managing a team of clinicians.
Healthcare Payer Experience: Experience working with Medicaid and commercial payers across multiple states.
Policy Development: Experience in drafting policy and procedure.
Work Environment: Experience in both in–home and clinic–based ABA settings.
Supervision Course: Completion of the BACB 8–hour supervision course or willingness to complete it within the first 60 days of employment.
Cultural Competence: Commitment to cultural competence and providing culturally sensitive care to diverse populations.
Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities within a fast–paced clinical environment.
Professional Development: Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in autism assessment and treatment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft and Google operating platforms.
