WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

* Research new technologies to improve and design products
* Serve as a member to the Data Solutions leadership team by helping to develop the business strategy, technology roadmap, IP and M&A activities
* Direct global Engineers and Designers related to product design activities
* Lead and direct cross functional product development teams
* Responsible for growing the business vertical and providing direction for global expansion of High Density Cooling and Data Center/Networking enclosure products
* Apply technical expertise to specific projects, such as heat transfer analysis
* Work with multi-functional teams to launch products by taking market specifications from design to prototype and seeing those through to production. This includes both branded platform products and products engineered for specific customer application.
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing to partner with customers, engage in industry partnerships, and establish other relationships enabling us to advance our product and technology reach
* Translate customer needs into product specifications
* Coordinate and maintain development schedules
* Supervise prototyping and testing
* Direct outside activities such as regulatory or other third-party testing
* Establish test specifications and protocols
* Development of product roadmaps
* Supports critical customers and partnerships for emerging technology focus

YOU HAVE:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering required with an emphasis in thermal. Master's degree preferred.
* Ideally 10+ years of related engineering experience
* 3+ years leading engineering teams
* In-depth knowledge in cooling systems and heat transfer preferred
* In-depth knowledge in electrical & electronics engineering
* Proven track record to use product knowledge to make excellent decisions that result in improved customer satisfaction and is looked upon by others as resource for that knowledge
