Summary

Chief Digital Officer develops and executes strategies for increasing revenue and enhancing customer electronic banking/ experience in support of the company’s multi-channel digital banking strategy. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the on-going development, compliance and management of the digital platforms. This role will have the unique opportunity to lead the creation, implementation, and sales culture of the Bank’s Treasury Management program from the ground up.

Job Duties And Essential Functions

  • Identify, evaluate and deploy products and services for the bank’s treasury management department.
  • Manage all client facing digital solutions and treasury management operations.
  • Manage all vendors for treasury management including digital, credit and commercial cards, merchant services, smart safes, cash vault services and marketplace vendors.
  • Provide mentorship for consumer technology partners.
  • Responsible for audits, risk, and all operational responsibilities for treasury management.
  • Manage all aspects of treasury management sales to include coaching of sales team, establishing sales goals, contributing to the sales and profitability of the department and being a player coach.
  • Manage product offerings, identify and implement new products and services while growing revenue.
  • Develop new deposit and loan relationships for the bank, as well as handle referrals from the bank’s ownership, board of directors and lenders.
  • Play a key role in the bank’s systems conversion to a Jack Henry/Silverlake core.
  • Responsible for providing ongoing communication through face-to-face meetings, e-mail, or via telephone with Executive Management.
  • Seek out and provides guidance and support to internal business partners to meet the needs of external customers in ongoing strategies and projects.
  • Participate in key process governance routines including process improvements, control testing, audits, and related business reviews.
  • Coordinate with technology, product management, treasury management customer support, vendors and teammates as needed for all onboarding and services team projects.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • 10+ years banking experience required.
  • 5+ years of customer service experience required.
  • 7+ years of Treasury Management experience required, preferred experience in both Sales and Operations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all Treasury Management products and services.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of Treasury Management legal documentation.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products and keyboarding skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with strong time management abilities.
  • Experience with project management and project management tools / practices
  • Self-starter works with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Technical expertise is preferred.
