Job Description

Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is searching for a Mechatronics Engineering Intern. This intern will assist in the development of the Next Generation product line with a focus on compliance, and also support the design validation process for the project.   

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Update 2D drawings.
  • Perform reviews with suppliers.
  • Support the building and gathering of parts for compliance testing and reviews.
  • Prepare test report and other design documentation as needed.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Availability to work 15-20 hours per week
  • Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work location
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling (Catia is preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills (with internal/external stakeholders)
  • Excellent organizational skills.
