NOVA Engineering is seeking a Field Engineer/Threshold Inspector to engage in Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects.

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects across the southeastern U.S., with significant potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:


- Execute staff/project engineering tasks, including data analysis and fieldwork for various project types: commercial, industrial, retail, governmental, office, and residential (covering both Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing/Inspection).
- Assist in project management and reporting.
- Conduct field inspections, sampling, and testing of soils/foundations, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and more.

- Prepare reports and consult with clients while maintaining strong relationships.
- Collaborate with other NOVA team members to achieve the company's overall objectives.

Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials is preferred.
- Successful completion of the F.E. exam is required or the ability to obtain it within three months.
- PE certification is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- The position involves approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office duties, with occasional travel.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience in Structural Threshold Inspection.
- Familiarity with concrete, including ICC, PTI, and ACI certifications, is highly advantageous.
