NOVA Engineering is seeking a Field Engineer/Threshold Inspector to engage in Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects.

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects across the southeastern U.S., with significant potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct engineering tasks including data analysis, fieldwork, and reporting for various project types such as commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, and residential.
- Assist in project management and documentation.
- Perform field inspections, sampling, and testing of materials including soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, and reinforcing steel.

- Prepare detailed reports and consult with clients to maintain strong relationships.
- Collaborate with NOVA team members to support the overall goals of the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction testing and inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials is preferred.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam is required or the ability to obtain it within three months.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- The position involves approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office duties, with occasional travel.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience in Structural Threshold Inspection.
- Familiarity with concrete, including certifications from ICC, PTI, and ACI is highly advantageous.
