Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural projects, including steel bridges, pre-cast concrete bridges, and cast-in-place flat slabs.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations, and drawings with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required.
- Effectively apply pre-established design templates to ensure consistency and quality.
- Approach tasks with an open mindset, proposing innovative solutions to design problems and contributing to the development of other team members through mentorship and positive behaviors.
- Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review, ensuring timely completion of multiple assigned tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities, including clients, subconsultants, and government agencies.
- Present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings and contribute to presentations with external parties.
- Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns.
- Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Emphasis on Structural Engineering preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- 4+ years of experience in structural engineering.
