    Job Description

  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of aerospace components and systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards.
Review and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation to identify potential issues and deviations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality control processes and procedures.Perform root cause analysis and investigations into any non-conformities or defects, taking corrective and preventive actions as needed.Monitor and track key quality metrics, creating reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.Participate in supplier quality assessments and supplier audits to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.Maintain and update the documentation and records related to quality assurance, including inspection reports, quality plans, and non-conformance reports.Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.Interface with customers to address quality concerns, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.Stay updated on industry standards and regulations in the aerospace domain and ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal quality / manufacturing engineer will have:

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Proficiency in AS9100 quality standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication abilities.In-depth knowledge of aerospace regulations and standards.The capability to work well in a team and adapt to industry changes.Technical proficiency in quality control tools and relevant software.
