Seeking a Process Engineer to take on a hands-on role in optimizing and maintaining manufacturing processes. Individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, documenting process conditions, and implementing improvements. The role involves providing technical support, managing process documentation, and ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production lifecycle.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on engineering efforts in a manufacturing facility specializing in wire and cable.
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Create PFMEA, control plans, and manufacturing specifications, and review equipment proposals.
- Provide technical support across departments, document process conditions, and train operators.
- Troubleshoot process issues, offer technical assistance, and address material and manufacturing-related problems.
- Monitor and document conditions for samples and first-run production.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, and unusual conditions while ensuring safety compliance.
- Enhance manufacturing processes, reduce scrap, and improve efficiency, aligning with strategic business objectives.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting abilities, and experience with software such as MS Project, Mathcad, Cable Builder, SolidWorks, and Minitab.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues effectively and lead multiple projects.
- Proven experience in documentation, process standardization, and creating work instructions and SOPs.
- Ability to understand the relationship between process parameters, material characteristics, and product performance, and develop project plans to address processing issues.
- Experience working with product, quality, and environmental engineers for cross-training and support.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain high customer service levels and build lasting relationships across various industries
