Network Operations Center SkillBridge Fellowship Program (Pathways, Military Program)

Job Summary:

Responsible for monitoring equipment spread across multiple sites and will require the ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues as they come up while keeping the relevant stakeholders informed as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting
· Troubleshoots network problems and outages and provides Level 1 Network support
· Actively works in performing network monitoring and creating solutions that allow proactive network monitoring
· Provides feedback and edit published checklists for L1 triage

Sustaining Operations
· Monitors network devices, software health and network tools health checks
· Monitors the network tools and reports any device or software outages, prioritizing the issues
· Creates and reports tickets for events and incidents

Service Delivery
· Performs Network Service fulfillment for quote to cash transactional tickets for all network and datacenter products (Interconnections, DCIM etc.)

Qualifications

Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in DOD Instruction 1322.29 and NAVADMIN 222/15. Required

· Official TAD/ TDY Orders to Equinix for the period of the internship Required

· Good time management habits, ability to multi-task, and sustain focus on long tasks.

· 4 or more years of experience in this field but in military service. Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas.

· Approved SkillBridge or Military Spouse Fellowship for a minimum of 120 days

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $78,000 to $124,000 per year • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $72,000 to $114,000 per year • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $65,000 to $103,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process. The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
