Job Title: Senior Account Manager, GMP, Nanoparticle Characterization Sales

 

Overview:  This Senior Account Manager role in our Commercial Characterization team will focus on expanding partnerships with existing GMP accounts and developing new leads into long-term GMP relationships. Collaborating closely with the Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales as well as the scientific and operations teams, this role will involve creating and implementing a comprehensive account service strategy to deliver GMP Nanoparticle Characterization services tailored to Pharma and Biotech clients.

 

Reports to:  Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales

 

Responsibilities:

Drive Sales Growth: Acquire new accounts and expand existing ones to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their success through collaboration with science and operations teams.

Identify and Develop Opportunities: Prospect, identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Enter and manage CRM data related to the sales process from prospecting to Closed Won/Successful outcomes.

Deliver Exceptional Service: Oversee the entire client experience, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery in partnership with colleagues.

Prepare Sales Presentations: Create and deliver impactful presentations to showcase our solutions and capabilities. 

Gather Customer Feedback: Report on customer satisfaction and service improvements to refine our offerings and operations.  Share insights and ideas with the Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales to improve or add to current service offerings. 

Represent the Company: Promote our services at tradeshows and other events, network with potential clients, and gather intel on market trends. 
 

 

Job Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences or a related field.

Laboratory Experience:  At least 2 years of laboratory experience is required. Experience in Quality, or CMC analytics is highly desirable.

Sales Experience: Sales experience is not required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.  However, previous experience in selling GMP analytics is highly desirable. 

Revenue Growth: Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.

Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a clear, persuasive style and strategic selling abilities.

Cultural Fit: Energetic, proactive, and self-managed with a strong commitment to quality, results, and integrity.

Customer Service: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and a proactive approach to client service.

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Adaptable and motivated by an entrepreneurial mindset, ready to evolve with the company's growth.
