This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Serve as a public affairs outreach technical authority within Region 2 by developing and implementing various communication strategies to the public regarding the Agency's programs, policies, and activities. Serve as a primary liaison between Public Affairs and external stakeholders and advises senior management on communication strategies. Develop new methods, strategies, events, and communication plans and identify/recommend opportunities for communication improvements. Negotiate on behalf of the Agency with private and public entities to ensure approval/permission to execute events.
