Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) is seeking an experienced Account Executive to help drive digital revenue across the Company. This position will play a central role in the generation of revenue utilizing data, local and national marketing strategies to sell customized solutions for our clients. This position will report to the Director of Digital Sales and will work closely with the Client Strategy and Account Management teams to drive revenue. 
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success driving revenue and winning new business. They must have a clear understanding of the digital ad ecosystem inclusive of both local and national ad agencies and clients. They must be a highly effective communicator (orally and written) and be able to successfully manage multiple priorities.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Drive revenue by establishing relationships across large and small ad agencies, independent agencies, and local clients
  • Hit and exceed sales goals via cold calling and emailing potential clients
  • Proactively identify opportunities for creating new and impactful relationships
  • Develop robust pipeline, category, and territory strategies
  • Deliver marketplace feedback and client challenges internally to help improve sales products and develop new solutions
  • Work with Director of Digital Sales, Client Strategy, and Account Management teams to develop winning digital and multimedia business
  • Work with Account Management and Programmatic team to ensure campaign optimization
  • Serve as an ambassador for the CHSN brand and mission in market, clearly explaining our unique value proposition and platform
  • Identify, monitor, and accurately forecast sales activity
  • Use knowledge of the relevant market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Effectively problem-solve and manage both client and internal customer needs
  • Work with Director of Digital Sales Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to hit and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track and measure performance against these metrics.
  • Effectively communicate CHSN's unique positioning and insights to internal and external clients through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making within the organization, promoting the use of analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Promote and sustain a positive work environment

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:  
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital sales or sports related sales
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and growing new business
  • Proven experience with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen and high integrity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The network will air more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and include pre- and postgame coverage while showing multisport programming 24 hours a day. CHSN will broadcast from studios located in both Chicago's United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The network will start airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October, showing White Sox games beginning in 2025.
