My client is a custom manufacturer that specializes in creating custom fixtures, furniture and graphics. They work with large, global brands like Nike, Walmart, and Banana Republic and are rapidly expanding their headcount to tackle recent growth. This team does all of their manufacturing in house, specifically sheet metal, tubing, wiring, powder coating, welding assembly, and even wood operations.

Job Description

Manage 6 direct reports, and over 100+ indirect reportsHandle P&L responsibilities, be an active part of the leadership strategy teamUtilize background in metal fabrication (welding, robotic welding, sheet metal fabrication) to troubleshoot production issues on the floorDesign Fixtures and Jigs in Solid-WorksDrive continuous improvement initiatives, seeking ways to be more efficient and optimize cost savings opportunitiesHand's On Role - lead by exampleIdentify production problems and present creative solutions to Senior LeadershipTroubleshoot machinery programming - do not need to be an expert.Communicate with customers and regularly perform DFMA

7Y+ Experience in a metal fabrication environment (Welding, Sheet Metal, Press Brake Exp Preferred)5+ Years of Leadership Experience (Experience of over 100+ indirect reports highly preferred)Extensive experience with SolidWorksAssociates Degree or Higher Required"Hands On" Mentality, not afraid to get your hands dirtyExperience with fixture design, Jig creation, and DFMAGD&T Experience
