Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints Accurately: You will be responsible for accurately reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure that metal models are fabricated to the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Understand GD&T Principles: You will need to understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure that metal models meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Set Up and Operate a Press Brake: You will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake to bend and shape metal to the required specifications.
  • Fabricate Metal Models: You will fabricate metal models in a prototype environment, using your expertise in metalworking and mechanical skills to deliver outstanding results.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will work closely with team members to ensure that metal models meet specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: You will need to have previous experience as a Metal Model Maker in a prototype environment.
  • Blueprint Reading and GD&T Understanding: You will need to be proficient in blueprint reading and understanding GD&T principles.
  • Press Brake Operation: You will need to be able to set up and operate a press brake.
  • Mechanical Skills: You will need to have strong mechanical skills and be able to fabricate metal models to the required specifications.
  • Metrology Tools: You will need to be familiar with metrology tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
