A global leader in special and custom-made machinery with a facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is currently looking to hire several Metal Fabricators for long-term opportunities with their growing company. These are excellent opportunities for those looking to work for a company that offers great benefits, stable employment, training, and career development.

The hourly rates are anticipated to start between $20 to $27 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, 401k, and more.

Qualified Candidates will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • Any experience with metal fabrications: forming, shaping, cutting, bending, grinding, buffing, deburring, bench work, shop and hand tools, manual machines (drill press), general machining, die grinders, sand blaster, rolock discs, belt sanders, saws (cutoff and scroll), basic welding, brazing, soldering, hand torch, etc.
  • Any experience working with a variety of metals: steels, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, etc.
  • Able to read drawings, prints, follow patterns, familiar with shop math, use measuring tools (calipers) and tape measure.
  • Training is available for entry-level candidates with good attitude, willing to learn a career in hand fabrication, machine building, welding, brazing, shop tools: saw, manual machines, drill press, etc.
