JOB DESCRIPTION

TMZ is seeking an experienced Assistant Production Coordinator to join our Production team. This position is responsible for assisting the Production Coordinator and Production Manager with daily production needs and long-term projects. This job is located in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with Management of Production Assistants
  • Handling purchases; both with PO's and petty cash including, but not limited to:
    • Craft services and staff wide office lunches
    • Paper products, first aid products and other office expendables as needed
    • Supplies for the TMZ Hollywood Tour as needed
    • Coordinating PA Court Runs
    • T-shirt, hats and other swag materials
    • Handling incoming mail shipments
  • Executive Producer phone coverage (as needed)
  • Early morning Production coverage (5:30am shift)
  • Conference room bookings & set-ups


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Production
  • The ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
  • Familiarity with Los Angeles and surrounding areas
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with studio production and a general understanding of corporate operations

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $18.00-20.00 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
