The Senior Production Coordinator reports directly to the Production Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive production requirements and creative briefs regularly, translating them into comprehensive production timelines with clear deadlines for pre-production milestones.
- Collaborate with the Production Operations team to ensure a seamless workflow, coordinating studio and on-location shoot schedules to optimize team efficiency.
- Communicate production updates effectively to creative stakeholders.
- Oversee all logistical and planning aspects for a diverse range of productions:
- Organize and participate in pre-production meetings with relevant stakeholders and talent.
- Work alongside studio operations and creative production teams to ensure the necessary stages, equipment, personnel, and products are secured for productions.
- Assist in onboarding freelance content creators, producers, and directors for production assignments, including key roles as needed.
- Recruit freelance support staff (cinematographers, food stylists, production assistants, etc.) as required.
- Authorize purchases and rentals for productions, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines.
- Delegate tasks to Production Coordinators or complete them as necessary:
- Coordinate with Casting Associates and Studio Operations to ensure timely procurement and delivery of client products for production.
- Ensure all production-related documentation is accurate and complete, including shot lists, production reports, and script notes.
- Distribute production schedules and call sheets effectively.
- Collaborate with studio operations to recruit freelance crew as needed.
- Gather necessary releases, permits, and other documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and company-specific processes.
- Manage purchases and rentals for productions and track expenses.
- Monitor and approve all production-related expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets set by Supervising Producers and company standards.
- Utilize project management systems to accurately report on job statuses throughout various production stages.
- Provide regular budget updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and professional conduct standards on set.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in production management or line producing, ideally within the film, digital media, or advertising sectors.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- At least one year of experience in people management.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Airtable).
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of post-production processes (e.g., editing, sound design) is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards identifying challenges and contributing to solutions.
Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid - part-time in-office)
Compensation:
TubeScience provides a competitive wage range for all remote roles as required by law. The anticipated starting pay for this position is $38 – $40 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and geographic location.
