DESCRIPTION:
The Production Assistant is an organized individual who will provide day to day support of all production orders under the direction of the Production Manager for the made to order “SAI” line of furniture.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review and submit vendor purchase orders (PO) through the ERP system (Netsuite), ensuring accurate vendor, SKUS and pricing are on every PO.
Pull, update and send the weekly Open Orders report to vendors and maintain order updates in Netsuite.
Communicate to the Customer Experience and Retail Sales teams any order updates that require attention and/or customer outreach.
Coordinate weekly production pick-ups and transfers from workrooms by building all necessary work orders and creating transfer orders within Netsuite.
Liaison with the logistics team on prioritizing pickups.
Create, submit and coordinate all repair PO’s in Netsuite and work with internal teams to get repair completed, returned and received in Netsuite.
Enter all order updates in Netsuite, including updated ETA’s, progress status’, component changes, and yields.
Support the Production Manager in communication to vendors for all open orders and other production needs.
Support in updating the fabric cut log and auditing fabric at workrooms.
Coordinate and communicate with sales teams regarding COM fabric requirements and order requirements.
Work with the warehouse team to support SAI QC inquiries.
Support the buying team in coordinating Shoppe Stock pick-ups from work rooms.
Support with updating all internal production and cross functional department documents where needed.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of furniture sales/production experience or related production experience
Netsuite or similar ERP experience
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Excel
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT SKILLS:
GREAT communication skills both verbal and written
