Our focus is on developing an expanded understanding of the molecular pathobiology of multiple myeloma and related disorders, validating novel targets and therapeutics that can be translated to the clinic, and understanding mechanisms of resistance that could serve as biomarkers and/or targets for chemosensitization. Current projects of interest focus on the activity of a novel, home-grown set of patented monoclonal antibodies that are showing immunomodulatory and direct cytotoxic activity against a variety of tumor models as naked antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and in chimeric antigen receptor guided T-cells.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Our research is focused on developing novel adoptive T-cell therapy approaches for both hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Candidate will be involved in developing and evaluating novel adoptive T-cell therapy strategies including CAR-T and TCR-T, and viral- and tumor antigen-specific T cells in both in vitro and in vivo models. Candidates should be self-motivated, career oriented, and should be capable of troubleshooting.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must hold a bachelor's or master's degree. Degree must have been obtained recently (within 1 year)
