Field Service Engineer

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitoring and servicing of the chemicals for the onshore/offshore oil and gas fields; warehousing; ordering and logistics of chemicals. Working with Operations Manager to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner. Rotating 14 days in field Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and 14 days off work.
Detailed Responsibilities: Maintain safe work practices to create a safe work cultureMaintain daily technical analysis and identification of the key points of the application needs related to oilfield applications, in particular in the O&G production industry both onshore and offshoreMaintain the application of best practices and lessons learned in terms of "flow assurance" and "asset integrity" of oil and gasSupport the product development and research teams for new products selection and optimizationProvide field level technical support to the customerEnsure the activities necessary for a timely response to the issues or process improvements related to the application of field productsIdentify the best solution for chemical process treatments and collaborate with internal technical team to provide data to support product recommendationsPlan/manage time for effective coverage of customer facilities, communications and other responsibilitiesCollaborate to complete chemical service documents, reports and other paperwork in a timely mannerTrain customers on product applicationsMaintain proper inventory management and chemical usageMaintain inventory chemical surveillance and chemical pump operating at the correct rateSkill Profile:
Bachelor's degree in technical field along with a minimum of 1+ year technical sales experience in relation O&G industry. Candidates without a bachelor's degree, but with 5+ years of upstream technical chemical sales experience will be consideredExperience in technical support activities with customers. Focus on corrosion, bacteria, and other asset integrity issues is a plusIn-depth knowledge of hydrocarbons extraction and production processesSelf-motivated, reliable, and accountable individualStrong problem solving/troubleshooting skillsStrong people skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate changing circumstancesTechnical verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsExcellent multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills

Bilingual, English & Italian is a plusWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
