Experience is a plus but not required.

There is one open position at this time in Anchorage, Alaska. Variable schedule: usually Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm. Periodic travel around the state of Alaska and on call is a requirement.

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services on Siemens medical imaging equipment throughout the state of Alaska. A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components is preferred, but not required. We are willing to teach and train the right person who is looking for long term employment education to gain a career.

Daily job descriptions:

· Perform inspections, scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on medical imaging equipment.

· Perform preventative maintenance and repair services in the field at customer facilities' in accordance with established procedures and techniques, using proper tools, test equipment and replacement parts.

· Perform software troubleshooting, installations and upgrades.

* Basic understanding of networks and IT (preferred, but not required)

· Ensure reports are completed accurately and achieve compliance by maintaining real time task management.

· Able to work independently with limited supervision

· Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication.

Qualification

· Education in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred, but not required)

· Experience in the medical field (preferred, but not required)

* Must be willing to under go a background check and drug testing, in accordance with local law and regulations
