Job Description SummaryThe Senior Sustainability Manager, Metrics Reporting & Analytics, is responsible for providing Sustainability-Environment metrics, strategic analysis, and new initiatives for data quality and metrics reporting to the GE Vernova leadership and Sustainability teams. This role will also support the GE Vernova Sustainability team program owners in understanding their data and gaps to drive continuous improvement and implement state of the art programs and operations to ensure highest quality data gathering, recordkeeping, and reporting.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate GE Vernova business roll-up and analysis of Greenhouse (GHG) gas reporting, including energy, water, waste and other disclosed ESG metrics for quarterly business reviews, Board of Directors meetings, Annual sustainability/external reporting, and other business needs (e.g., bowler charts)
  • Develop and continuously improve GE Vernova’s sustainability data strategy, including working across reporting and business teams to identify data gaps, and prioritize and develop solutions to improve data quality and completeness.
  • Lead review of data governance, new external disclosure requirements, and system capability analysis for business ESG metric needs
  • Support the GE Vernova CDP Annual Climate Change response, compiling and aligning business, program owner, leadership reviews, and outside consultant inputs.
  • Facilitate the GE Vernova enterprise data reporting against various regulatory frameworks, including SECR, EED, CSRD, and future trending global requirements.
  • Supervise and support the external controllership auditing of GE Vernova ESG data during the annual preparation of GE Vernova’s Sustainability Report.
  • Guide business teams in GHG, energy, water, and waste metrics reporting program adherence, tool management, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with the Sourcing team for any necessary information needed to calculate ESG metrics and data including Scope 2.
  • Develop and maintain internal Standard Operating Procedures for Sustainability data internal and external metrics reporting and disclosure, based on industry recognized standards, including but not limited to GHG protocol, SBTi, and others.
  • Align with business partners to support data accuracy and governance to drive continuous improvements.
  • Co-lead and support, with data technology and information technology teams, new system updates or deployment of reporting and data analysis platforms needed for business growth and compliance.
  • Participate in GE Vernova Sustainability core team strategic planning meetings and execution of ESG goals, providing key data analysis, trends, and insights to guide data-driven decision making.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to continuously improve data gathering, recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Work closely with controllership and data technology teams to improve and automate the Sustainability data.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in science or any quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science,
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in an equivalent ESG/Sustainability data and analytics program management role
  • Familiarity GHG Protocol and other emerging frameworks (SEC, EU Taxonomy, CSRD)
  • Expert in data visualization tools and other standard office tools, including but not limited to Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel and Power point
  • Experience with Sofi/Sphera ESG reporting tool or other equivalent ESG management systems of record
  • Detailed-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Desired Characteristics

  • Direct experience completing data reporting component of CDP annual climate assessment, and other ESG disclosure frameworks for a large multi-national corporation

The base pay range for this position is 146.900,00 to 244.900,00 USD Annual .The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus. This posting is expected to remain open until at least August 20, 2024
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
