About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President to lead our ESG Advisory and Sustainability Reporting practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to help our clients achieve their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead ESG Reporting and Disclosure: Develop and implement ESG reporting and disclosure strategies for clients, aligned with industry standards and frameworks such as ISSB, SASB, TCFD, and GRI.
  2. Monitor ESG Regulations and Guidance: Stay up-to-date on the latest ESG regulations and guidance globally, and provide insights to clients on how to navigate these requirements.
  3. Develop Sustainability Benchmarks: Create and lead benchmarking initiatives to help clients understand their environmental sustainability, social responsibility, economic, and governance performance targets and disclosures.
  4. Connect Sustainability to Communications: Help clients integrate their sustainability actions into their communications, including reputation and preference management, and third-party ESG rankings.
  5. Support Research and Strategy: Collaborate with clients on research and strategy recommendations across various areas, including climate change, responsible sourcing, supply chain, energy, water, recycling, agriculture, circular economy, governance, human rights, social impact, philanthropy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  6. Advise on Sustainability Topics: Provide expert advice and perform research on sustainability topics, including Board of Directors presentations, media monitoring, trends analysis, partnership audits, benchmarking, competitive analyses, fact-finding, backgrounders, and research summaries.
  7. Develop Data Analyses and Written Materials: Guide and develop data analyses and written materials, including reports, blogs, internal communications, presentations, assessments, research summaries, and client correspondence.
  8. Manage Projects and Teams: Oversee project management timelines, partnerships, and conference lists, and manage staffing and coordination of meetings, agendas, notes, and administrative support for events.
  9. Analyze Industry Trends: Analyze industry and marketplace trends and summarize for teams.
  10. Support Account Teams: Collaborate with multiple account teams on various projects.
Requirements
  1. 7+ Years of Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a relevant function managing ESG/sustainability reporting, disclosures, rating submissions, and supporting investor relations activities.
  2. Investor Relations Experience: Experience in investor relations advising executive leadership or Board of Directors.
  3. ESG Knowledge: Broad understanding of the fundamentals of key environmental and social responsibility issues, with the ability to remain up-to-date on new and emerging issues, trends, regulations, and commitments.
  4. Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather and interpret information, formulate recommendations, and analyze data.
  5. Organizational Skills: Ability to efficiently organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  6. Attention to Detail: Sweat the details and understand the importance of getting the little things right.
  7. Writing and Communication Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
  8. Time Management and Adaptability: Resourceful with excellent time management skills, able to work independently or collaboratively, and adapt well to change.
  9. Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in Microsoft Teams, Project, and other database/management tools.
  10. Education and Certifications: MBA or CPA could be beneficial, as well as experience in a consulting role and SASB FSA Credential.
