Project Overview:

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting the Project Manager in executing the project effectively. They act as a bridge between the Project Manager and the project team, ensuring that tasks are carried out as planned and that the project remains on track. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager and is responsible for assisting the PM with the day-to-day management and oversight of the project and all project programs. #LI-SM2


Major Responsibilities:

  • The Project Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Assist the PM in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of various field support and construction programs
  • Support the implementation of project HSE programs, perform site walkdowns, and ensure tasks are performed in compliance with project HSE requirements.
  • Support maintaining project document control program
  • Liaise and provide on-going input to the engineering, procurement, HSE and construction groups
  • Support field inspections performed by the project team
  • Perform work methods improvement studies
  • Assist in the preparation and updating of construction schedules and progress reports
  • Support and monitor the implementation of the project quality procedures
  • Ensure correct implementation of the project Construction Automation Plan
  • Ensure correct preparation of applicable as-built documents and inspections required by the contract
  • Coordinating and assigning tasks to various team members.
  • Ensure that tasks are completed on time and that team members are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules, working closely with the Project Manager to update and adjust timelines as necessary.
  • Monitor progress against the established schedule and address any deviations.
  • Assist in identifying potential issues and risks within the project.
  • Work with the PM and team members to develop mitigation plans and ensure that risks are effectively managed.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of relevant work experience; in lieu of degree, nine (9) years of relevant work experience


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak Korean
  • Advanced level of construction quality audits and contract coordination experience
  • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, processes and management
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering work processes and environmental compliance
  • Willing to work overtime as required with short notice
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Strong organizational skills.
