Summary

This position is in the Special Operations Division of the Superior Court. The Supervisory Onboarding and Training Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for the design, creation, deployment, and management of role-based training materials and online learning tools. The position also promotes standardization of business practices across Superior Court divisions, ensuring consistent application of established onboarding and training standards.



Duties

Brief Description of Major Duties:

  • Collaborates with Superior Court divisions and offices to standardize business processes and operating procedures. 
  • Researches, develops, and implements systems and tools to monitor compliance with established onboarding and role-based training standards within Superior Court. Shares feedback on new employees' progress with Superior Court managers. 
  • Designs, develops, and maintains role-based training and onboarding materials derived from business processes and standard operating procedures. 
  • Conducts supervisory role-based "train-the trainer", and development programs for Superior Court supervisors using various forms and formats including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos. 
  • Maintains and manages eLearning content and digital platforms to ensure accurate functionality, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring utilization. 
  • Recommends new software, resources, program procedures, and process improvements.
  • Serves as the contract and technical representative for contracts; recommends, administers, and supervises contracts in compliance with court policies. 
  • Provides direct supervision of all unit employees and is responsible for all aspects of staffing and logistics to ensure effective operations and a safe work environment.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the onboarding and role-based training program through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Monitors and certifies time and attendance, completes employee performance plans and evaluations and oversees all vacancy recruitment initiatives.
  • Makes recommendations for employee training and development, appointments, promotions and separations.
  • Submits reports including but not limited to those pertaining to budget, training, management action plan objectives, key performance indicators; and personnel actions which may be statistical, narrative, or advisory in nature.
