Supervisory Instructional Systems Specialist

This position is located within the Training Management and Performance Improvement (TMPI) division supporting the full lifecycle of training activities. Will directly supervise and guide the activities of subordinate Instructional Systems Specialists and Training Administrators, perform or manage performance; responsible for assisting and representing leadership in the planning, direction, and management of VBA's nationwide training activities.
Duties
- Direct and manage a team of approximately six employees.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Assist in the recruitment of staff and completion of work as assigned to support the recruitment process.
- Apply project/program management methodologies, principles and protocols.
- Manage activities performed by contractors
- Maintain records of accomplishments and administrative information.
- Managed, oversee and monitor day-today operations.
