Certified Nurse Midwife Opening in Indiana

Located in Richmond, IN - Dayton 30m; Cincinnati 60m

Seeking Certified Nurse Midwife to join our established Reid OB/Gyn team in Richmond, IN.
Health center is located in east central Indiana with all the advantages of a single hospital community, low managed care environment, great working environment and excellent medical staff.

Schedule Details:

- Candidate will work 36 hours patient facing in an outpatient office setting.
- Call rotation for inpatient deliveries and patient needs.

Position Overview:

- Office patients include OB and Gyn
- Satellite locations - One office day per week will be scheduled at an outreach location.
- Ultrasounds and laboratory services available in Richmond office

Daily responsibilities include providing primary and specialty care services for women, include:

- Conducting physical examinations
- Interpreting medical histories
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
- Counseling and educating patients on gynecological and obstetrical issues
- Performing minor procedures
- Providing prenatal care, family planning services, and screening service

Call schedule:

Rotation with 3 other CNMs once positions filled.
24 hour call Monday-Thursday.
Weekend call includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday every 4th weekend.
Midwife will have the day off, post call

Compensation Details:

- Competitive base salary

Experience Required:

2+ years CNM experience but not required
Licensure: Indiana Medical License
Certifications: Must maintain BLS/ACLS
