Position: Advanced Practice Clinician in Cardiac Surgery
Join a leading heart surgery program at Bon Secours, where we are in search of a skilled Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to enhance our team.
As an APC, you will collaborate closely with Cardiac Surgeons to provide exceptional care for patients undergoing heart surgery, including procedures such as CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and the management of advanced cardiac devices like Impella, IABPs, and ECMO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and manage the daily care of inpatients, from ICU to stepdown units, including rounds, progress notes, and order placements.
- Engage in daily multidisciplinary collaboration to support the cardiac service line.
- Handle admissions, consultations, and discharges for the service line.
- Perform device removals, including chest tubes and epicardial pacing wires.
- Oversee post-operative follow-up visits and surgical consultations in an outpatient setting.
The Heart Surgery program is a well-established practice, performing numerous cases annually. Our patients benefit from cutting-edge technology and techniques in a nurturing and supportive environment.
