ROLE SUMMARY


STAFFED INC. is seeking an innovative and dynamic leader to join our team as the Director of Account Operations. In this senior leadership role, you will steer our workplace culture and drive the operational efficiency of our sales and account management teams. Your focus will be on setting strategic direction and executing plans that align with STAFFED INC.'s mission and multi-departmental objectives.


As the Director of Account Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping operational policies and procedures and managing the Event Staffing, Placements, and Talent Acquisitions teams. You will also work closely with the finance team to oversee profitability and achieve overall sales goals. Your leadership will enhance internal processes, foster strong client relationships, and ensure the effectiveness of our internal training programs. In collaborating with each department, you will promote a culture of encouragement and accountability.


You will be a visible and influential figure within the company, working across departments to ensure smooth operations and scalable, sustainable growth. Your goal is to drive efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining a people-centered approach. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Operational Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, and manage effective policies, processes, and training programs to drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align goals and strategies.
  • Generate periodic performance reports, showcasing successes and highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and refine recruitment and staffing methods to ensure seamless top-tier talent acquisition.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and unparalleled service within departments.
  • Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective departmental policies and procedures.


Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and evaluations.
  • Encourage team collaboration and ensure alignment with departmental and company-wide goals.
  • Identify and address skills gaps within the team, organizing training and development opportunities.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.


Accounts & Project Management

  • Develop and sustain meaningful relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Drive expansion of the permanent placements division by leveraging existing client accounts and new business development strategies.
  • Update, manage, and track all customer data, sales activity, and forecasting metrics in our CRMs, Hubspot and BullHorn.
  • Regularly review and analyze CRM data to gauge the health of client accounts and sales pipelines.
  • Utilize CRM analytics to identify and pursue new client opportunities and sectors, forecasting potential revenue streams.
  • Lead and manage large-scale projects through planning, development, launch, and close.
  • Manage and escalate organizational risks and issues, establishing success metrics, and ensuring performance tracking.


Department Collaboration

  • Collaborate and strategize with the Sales team to establish and incorporate brand and business strategies across the agency.
  • Work closely with finance and sales teams to manage profitability and sales goals.
  • Partner with the People Department to operationalize processes and efficiencies related to human resources and talent training and development for both field and corporate employees.
  • Liaise with financial partners to administer daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business needs.
  • Support accounts receivable, ensuring timely client payments.
  • Manage corporate, field, and temporary employee payroll.
  • Oversee agency timesheets to ensure project profitability.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Recruiting, Sales, Operations or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a leadership role within staffing, hospitality or event management sectors.
  • A proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
  • Exceptional project management skills; able to execute plans while juggling multiple priorities with the ability to translate vision into planning, prioritization, and action.
  • Experience in budgeting and resource planning.
  • Strong analytical skills, adept at setting, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Direct management experience with scaling and multi-divisional growing business of $7-10MM, preferably in staffing & recruitment.
  • A flexible schedule that adjusts to the needs of the business.
  • Mastery over Google Suite, Hubspot CRM and Bullhorn ATS platforms.
  • Must be authorized to work within the United States.
  • Travel for this role is required.


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Expertise in driving operational efficiency through process improvement and training programs.
  • Multi-State operations and labor laws experience is preferred.
  • An innate ability to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions–because everything is figure-out-able.
  • The capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with an emphasis on building strong relationships.
