As the North America, National Sales Manager for the Energy Storage Division, you will be pivotal in driving the growth and success of SolarEdge's BESS energy storage products and services across the North American market. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop and close sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets for the North America Storage Division
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project developers, system integrators, asset owners and design engineering firms for BESS projects
  • Actively pursue sales leads and build a sales pipeline for direct sales of BESS to project developers, system integrators and utility companies
  • Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required
  • Nurture the relationships with leading BESS project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive market penetration.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to make informed business decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across the division and across geographies, including product management, engineering, Solution Engineering and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of goals and execution plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing sales with success growing YoY revenue.
  • Minimum of 5 years of BESS or solution sales with a proven track record of success
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product offering and power electronics solutions
  • An ability to convey advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating and closing large revenue deals
  • Ability to identify and convert new accounts
  • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in a fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment
  • Possesses a distinct customer service focus with demonstratable skills in handling complex customer issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong understanding of the North American energy market, focusing on storage solutions.
  • Strategic thinker who is a self-starter and can drive results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market.
  • A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitude.
