About the role

The Assistant Manager, Print & Color assists in developing seasonal, trend right & customer centric concepts; creates compelling CAD color ways that are brand appropriate.

The impact you can have

Assist in the creation/ development of seasonal inspiration boardsSchedule and attend print appointmentsCreate brand appropriate color ways of prints, yarn dye and embroideriesWork closely with Print & Color leadership team to ensure level of sophistication and quality of work are to expectationsMaintain print archives (physical swatches)Assist team members with clerical tasks when workload is heavy; i.e. scan, clean & creating repeats, preparing color palettes, print packages, etc.Assist in trend researchAttend CAD training classes and seminarsExecute in accordance with timelines and provide timely solutions

You’ll bring to the role

Bachelor’s Degree in Design, or equivalent

• 2-3 years experience as a Computer-Aided Designer

• Ability to recognize trends and direction as it relates to print and color

• Strong computer skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Ned Graphics)

• In depth knowledge of CAD system and design specifications

• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and divisions

• General expertise of print and textile designs, color matching and creation of color ways

• Knowledge of color separation and repeats

• Excellent eye for color
