JOB SUMMARY: This position is located at the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park. MAJOR DUTIES: Major duties include the following: Manage the Eastern Incident Management Team (EIMT) program. Support, coordinate, and Improve emergency services for NPS preparedness in responses to all-hazard incidents. Manage Emergency Operation components to include but not limited to emergency management (activities during response) and Emergency Operations Center. Develop and prepare emergency management plans, procedures, risk assessments, standards, regulations, training, directives, and guidance. Provide, coordinate, and develop training for emergency response. Develop preparedness training, develop emergency training exercises, and assessment of trainings. Coordinate and act as a liaison with park units, regional offices, and higher departments on matters of emergency preparedness and response.
