HR Assistant Director (210804-14)

Are you looking for a great full-time opportunity in HR? A large supplier is immediately looking for a Senior HR Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee management, and staff development and training.

Qualified candidates will have proven experience in employee relations or HR management with strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Location Airport Area, Honolulu, Oahu Pay $80,000 a year Responsibilities
  • Partner within the HR department to implement initiatives that support workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational design.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management.
  • Investigate employee complaints.
  • Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
  • Inform employees about organizational updates, policies, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance management processes and tools.
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for employees and managers on topics such as conflict resolution, communication, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Remain up to date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR role with strong knowledge of employee relations, HR management, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Offer of employment contingent upon clearing a pre-employment drug screen.
