Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Compile Management Review slides utilizing all IATF 16949 and Customer Specific requirements.  
  • Monthly Review and bi-monthly reports
  • Maintain Quality Alert Database
  • Submit Change Request to customer and maintain the Supplier Change Request Database.
  • Maintain compliance to IATF 16949 and all customer specific requirements
  • Maintain Part Submission Share drive
  • Lead Layered Process Audit
  • Perform special instructions/request as determined by the Quality Manager and Corporate Quality team.
  • Prepare all PPAP packages and review with Customer, and Manage supplier PPAP approvals
  • Be prepared to travel to customer locations to address / review elements regarding PPAP’s and/or customer scores or any quality issues that arrive.
  • Participate in, all APQP Team Meeting for new programs as well as changes
  • Participate and support in Continuous Improvement Activities (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt, and ITS programs) and Idea Program
  • Monitor of all customer related web sites for compliance and current requirements
  • Participate and support in the development and maintain Procedural systems in accordance with IATF16949 and Customer Specific Requirements
  • Travel to sister sites and participate in completing internal audits, when necessary
  • Maintain and submit month end reports (CMS, Plant External PPM report, Quality Issues, Scorecard)

 

Education and/ or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be considered. 

 

Requirements:

  • Willing to travel to both customer and supplier locations as needed
  • Willing and able to communicate via verbal, written and presentations with internal employees, suppliers and customers
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative
  • Must be willing to pursue continuing education 
  • Excellent attendance
  • Must be able to read blue prints and apply tolerances as noted.
  • Must be flexible regarding work assignments able to change and move scheduled priorities as requested
  • Proficient typing and computer skills specifically using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must have knowledge of Customer specific Requirements and Customer specific web-sites.
  • Must have sufficient math, reading and writing ability to complete required work skills
  • Able and willing to work overtime, before and after shift, possible weekends
  • Must have ability to work in team environment and cooperate with multiple disciplines and diverse personnel
  • Must participate in Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt, and ITS programs) and Idea Program
  • Excellent Housekeeping
