The Security, Regulatory & Compliance Manager is responsible for enforcing organization-wide safety and security adherence to all state and federal regulatory requirements. This individual designs and effectively executes policies and procedures by conducting complex, investigative, in-depth compliance audits and facilitating corrective action plans within areas across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develops, implements, and manages practices to assure safety and security of the manufacturing facility, staff and its intellectual property.
  • Improves safety and security prevention program operations and performance and uncovers and addresses underlying issues.
  • Collects, examines, and analyzes records, policies, operating practices, documentation, and transactions; prepares and presents audit reports.
  • Conducts routine and ad hoc follow-up from previous auditing activities to ensure corrective actions or other remedies have been sufficiently completed in a timely manner.
  • Establishes standard practices and policies to ensure company-wide compliance with ATF/DOT regulated operations and the utilization of all commercial vehicles.
  • Collaborates cross functionally to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, objectives and reporting metrics.
  • Creates, complies and trains on all company ATF/DOT-related administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
  • Develops and maintains an appropriate level of knowledge of the rules and regulations of ATF/DOT, as well as company and industry-wide regulations and standard

    Qualifications, Experience, Skill/Knowledge

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or combination of education and experience
    • 5 - 8 years of experience in manufacturing safety, security, and compliance as an auditor, monitor, or investigator
    • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Outlook, MS Word).
    • Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and goals.
    • Good organizational, problem solving, analytical, communication, customer service, written & interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interface with personnel across all levels of the business
