As a Marketing Partnership Lead within the Small Business team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships in the small business industry. Your role will involve developing, refining, and implementing partnership strategies including marketing program execution. You will be at the forefront of managing external partner relationships, working in collaboration with cross-business and cross-functional teams to enhance program performance and ensure partnership compliance. This position falls under the supervision of the Small Business Marketing Director – Industry and Platform Development, and is a part of the Chase Branded Cards (CBC) organization, a crucial business within Chase’s Consumer and Community Banking group.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing partnership strategy in the small business industry
  • Initiate new external partnerships and manage existing relationships 
  • Influence stakeholders across matrixed organization to gain alignment
  • Work cross-functionally with the Chase Branded Cards teams and other Connected Commerce and Business Banking lines of business to shape partner benefit strategy and execution
  • Drive marketing plans and execution ensuring delivery on contractual commitments as well as internal and external objectives through collaboration with Corporate Development, Government Relations, Communications, Marketing, and Finance teams

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Minimum 7 years progressive marketing partnership experience, with a strong record of accomplishment managing successful partnerships
  • Strong relationship development and management skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners
  • Experience negotiating and managing partnership agreements to deliver on partner objectives and commitments
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to develop and refine partnership strategies
  • Experience leading marketing program execution with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active, action-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence across varying seniority levels

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • MBA or advanced degree  
  • Financial services or large corporate firm environment experience
