We are looking for a Site Safety Coordinator to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Lubbock, TX.

As the Site Safety Coordinator, your key role will involve providing essential support to the EHS and Process Manager. This includes utilizing your technical and regulatory expertise to ensure compliance, maintain safe workplaces, and drive continuous improvement in EHS programs and overall organizational culture.

During your work as a Site Safety Coordinator, you will

 

  • Assist in the identification, tracking, reporting, and driving improvement on EHS key performance indicators.
  • Provide training on the BASF’s Responsible Care Management System.
  • Facilitate the sharing of programs, procedures, tools, and successfully demonstrated practices across the EHS organization to the site.
  • Assist and/or participate on EHS meetings in the Cotton Supply Chain.
  • Provide necessary training on Safety topics and Stewardship to all site personnel.
  • Support the site with Procurement in regard to services (not covered by Site services) and packaging.
If you...
  • Hold a High School Diploma
  • Possess minimum 2 years of EHS experience
  • Have minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment,.
  • Have a strong expertise in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Process Safety,  and additional experience in Environmental will be desirable.
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, customer focus, influencing, work management, and results orientation.
