  • Leading and delivering all required safety training to site employees in alignment with BASF EHS policies/programs to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Working with site management, corporate EHS, and other parties to prepare for audits related to this site.
  • Taking the lead in implementing corporate standardized EHS policies and procedures, including Safe Work Permits, Job Safety Analysis, Management of Change, Incident/Accident investigation, Ergonomics, and HAZCOM.

  • BS degree, required, with studies in a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge in Occupational Safety.
  • Extensive regulatory (OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS) and technical safety expertise is essential.
  • Professional Certification (CSP, CIH, etc.) or completed within 18 months of employment.
  • PSM/RMP knowledge and expertise, preferred.
