Summary

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.



Duties

The Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Coordinator will specifically address the complex needs of Veterans with issues related to IPV, by coordinating services for patients across the facility as part of the Domestic Violence (DV) / IPV Assistance Program.

The major duties of the IPV Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide specialized psychological services at all levels of complexity for patients experiencing IPV, with service delivery to include intake evaluation, treatment planning, diagnostic assessments, psychotherapy and patient education.
  • Perform clinically indicated IPV consultation for outpatient and inpatient populations across the facility.
  • Provide prevention services to clients at risk of developing problems related to DV/IPV.
  • Provide collateral consultation with significant others/support systems to aid in the facilitation of client treatment with permission from client.
  • Attend regularly scheduled treatment team meetings to ensure efficiency and continuity of service delivery to specialized client population.
  • May execute ongoing program evaluation and data driven quality improvement projects to monitor the effectiveness of the program.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 4:30 pm, Tour of duty negotiable after selection.
