Job Summary: The Metal Control Operator will operator saw, cut, and weight alloy ingots for casting, manage all paperwork and track inventory against daily processed orders, and perform welding requirements for cut alloy charges, as needed.

Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:
Complete monthly inventory requirementsCut, weigh, and weld alloy charges for casting departmentsPrep and sort super alloy revertTorch, cut, prep, and sort titanium revertWeld ingots/charges as neededRead and follow the information on work instructionsRecord data either manually or by computer as required
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondences. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).This position requires a minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training.Must be available for all shifts (including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekend shift). Must be able to work overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required.​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
